Welcome to Pats Doghouse Kennel, I am a Texas breeder of small dogs. We are a family owned kennel with over 18 years experience. Our puppies are hand raised and given the utmost care. Our goal here is to help you find the perfect addition to your family. We strive to make our puppies very social by handling them, naming them, and talking to them daily. We have a schedule that puppies are on, for their shots, worming, and care. By doing this we can ensure that all puppies are healthy and free from any diseases. Each and every puppy that goes to their forever home is sent with a health guarantee. We have Champion bloodlines in many of our puppies. The registry's that we use are AKC and APRI. We thoroughly enjoy our puppies and love to meet new people and see the smiles and sparkle in the eyes of kids, big and small, when they take their new additions home to their family. We started with Miniature Schnauzers and have continued to raise them since we favor their personality and intelligence. About twelve years ago we got involved with Yorkies, Maltese, and other small breeds. I live out in the country where it is peaceful and my dogs and I have space to roam and do what needs to be done. I have shipped puppies all over the United States, having each puppy vet checked, given it's Rabies shot before it has been shipped without any problems. With your deposit your puppy will be held for you. We do not encourage visitors for the puppies until they are at least six weeks old and have had their first inoculation. This is to prevent the puppies from being exposed to disease. Mothers are very protective of their puppies and can become anxious when their puppies are moved. We do not want to put undue stress on a nursing female. Once your puppy has been weaned, they can be visited and you can bond with them if you like. Please call ahead to arrange a time for your visitation since this is a working kennel and someone will have to be available during your visitation.
